Project Overview

Comfort Care Services, a UK-based provider of supported living and specialist care services, had an outdated and slow website that did not reflect the scale and professionalism of the company. With over 100+ residences, 500+ service users, 450+ staff members, and more than 38 years of experience in the industry, the company needed a visually appealing and high-performance website to better represent its brand and attract more service users and staff. The new design had to be modern, efficient, and user-friendly, with a focus on creating a seamless one-page flow website.

The project included integrating two essential popups: one for job vacancies and another for available room vacancies for service users. We used WordPress and Elementor Pro to create a sleek, responsive, and professional one-page website that delivers both functionality and visual appeal.

Client Background

Comfort Care Services is a leading provider of high-quality supported living services for vulnerable adults with enduring mental illnesses, learning disabilities, and other complex health needs. With over 38 years in business and a large staff and service user base, the company has earned a reputation for its commitment to care and community. Despite their strong industry presence, their old website was underperforming and visually outdated, which did not reflect their years of experience and the quality of their services.

Project Goals

1. Website Redesign: Create a modern, visually appealing, and professional website that better reflects Comfort Care Services’ commitment to care and quality.
2. Performance Optimization: Build a fast-loading website that improves user experience, replacing their slow and unresponsive previous site.
3. Single-Page Flow: Develop a streamlined, one-page website that efficiently presents all relevant information in a cohesive flow.
4. Vacancy Forms: Integrate two popup forms—one for job vacancies and another for available room vacancies for service users.
5. User-Friendly Design: Ensure the new site is easy to navigate and accessible to potential service users, staff, and stakeholders.

The Challenge

Comfort Care Services faced several challenges:
 
• Poor Website Performance: Their previous website was slow and lacked the necessary visual and functional appeal to attract new service users or staff.
• Outdated Design: The design was not modern or representative of the company’s stature and over 38 years of experience.
• Complex Navigation: The previous website had multiple pages and was hard for users to navigate, impacting the overall user experience.
• No Easy Way to Capture Leads: There was no effective system for potential staff and service users to inquire about vacancies (both job and room availability).

The Solution

To address these challenges, we provided the following solutions:
 
1. Complete Website Redesign: Using Figma for design planning and Elementor Pro for WordPress development, we completely overhauled the website’s design. The new one-page layout ensured that all critical information was easily accessible and visually appealing, giving users a seamless and professional experience.
2. Performance Improvement: While SEO and hosting were managed by Comfort Care Services, we optimized the website’s frontend performance to ensure fast load times. The new site was designed to be lightweight and efficient, ensuring a responsive user experience on all devices.
3. Popup Forms for Vacancies:

  • Job Vacancy Form: A popup form for potential job applicants was integrated to streamline the recruitment process. This form captures user information efficiently and allows the team to manage job inquiries better.
  • Room Vacancy Form: A separate popup was designed for potential service users or their families to inquire about room availability in Comfort Care’s supported living facilities.

4. Plugins Used:

  • Elementor Pro for page building and design flexibility.
  • Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for managing custom content types and field structures.
  • Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE) for optimizing backend performance and administrative tools.

5. Streamlined User Experience: The new one-page website features an intuitive layout with clear navigation, making it easy for visitors to learn about the services and inquire about job or room vacancies. The modern design uses engaging visuals and straightforward calls-to-action to boost engagement.

• Popup Forms: We created two popup forms using Elementor Pro’s advanced form-building capabilities, one for job vacancies and another for room vacancies, each easily accessible and non-intrusive.
